I am an engaging and gifted science writer, with four decades of experience writing for both professional and public audiences. 

I have published more than 240 peer-reviewed research papers, and have written more than 120 articles for the research news website The Conversation, which has helped me to reach a truly global audience. My articles for The Conversation have been republished in media outlets across the globe, including translations into Mandarin, French, and Spanish.

 In recent years, I have also been engaged to write articles for SpaceAustralia.com and CSIRO's Double Helix magazine, prior to its untimely demise in 2025.

I have also undertaken consulting work as a science writer - most recently working on documents for NRMA Parks and the Balonne Shire Council, among others.
